The old Istanbul railway, stretching along the banks of the Golden Horn, is like a visual memory, bearing witness to every era.
This walk, taking the Golden Horn Line ferry to Eyüp, will be both a photography tour and an exploration of the city’s history and texture.

On this tour, I will photograph Istanbul’s changing light, colors, architecture, and people, while also sharing practical tips on street photography, architectural photography, and creating a visual diary.

Golden Horn Line – Eyüp – Pierre Loti Photo Walk

Our journey to Eyüp will continue with the Golden Horn ferry, departing from Üsküdar (9:30 AM) and Karaköy (9:45 AM), stopping at the piers of the Golden Horn districts. We will explore the Golden Horn districts from the ferry. After shooting at Eyüp Square and the Eyüp Mosque, we will take the cable car to Pierre Loti. We will then walk through Eyüp Cemetery and descend back to Eyüp Square. After completing our shooting, we will return to Karaköy and Üsküdar on the same ferry (3:30 PM ferry).

The Golden Horn Line Photo Walk is a route that bridges the city’s past and present.
On this walk, we will both apply our technical knowledge in the field and experience a new perspective on Istanbul’s historical fabric.
