In every photoshoot, we evaluate numerous variables, from the equipment we have at hand to the surrounding conditions, the subject we encounter, and our aesthetic concerns, striving to achieve the most impressive result. If we achieve a “beautiful” photo as a result of this effort, we comment with “I shot very well…”; if the result isn’t what we wanted, we comment with “That photo didn’t turn out well…” and choose the fate of the photo. However, a photoshoot adventure begins neither when we meet the subject nor when we take the camera out of the bag. This process begins with the visual dreams the photographer creates in their heart, soul, and mind. The resulting photo is the tangible evidence of their visual dreams.

Our one-day Istanbul photography workshop offers a unique blend of guided field practice and creative exploration. Designed for photographers eager to expand their vision and refine technical skills, this workshop emphasizes hands-on learning in real urban settings.
1-Day Workshop (Practical Focus)
During this photoshoot, we’ll shoot in Sultanahmet Square, Kadırga, and the Little Hagia Sophia area.
When we meet, we’ll hold a drawing. Participants will choose one of three themes (Color, Concept, and Contrast) written on the covered sheets of paper. Throughout the shoot, they’ll work on creating photos around these themes.
I’ll also send you sample photos and related titles from renowned photographers before the shoot date. Your secondary goal will be to create similar photos around these themes.
